The Short Version

Knock is a service that lets people contact you through a shareable link. You control who gets through. Use it responsibly, don't abuse it, and we'll all be fine.

Using Knock

• You must be 13 or older to use Knock
• You're responsible for your account and keeping your credentials secure
• You agree to provide accurate information
• One person, one account (no bots or automated access without permission)

Acceptable Use

Don't use Knock to:

• Harass, spam, or abuse others
• Impersonate someone else
• Violate any laws
• Attempt to hack or disrupt the service
• Scrape data or use automated tools without permission

Your Content

You own your content (door name, messages, etc.). By using Knock, you grant us permission to store and display this content as needed to provide the service. You can delete your content at any time.

Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but can't guarantee it. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We're not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

Pricing

Knock offers free and paid tiers. Prices may change with 30 days notice. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime. No refunds for partial months.

Termination

You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

Limitation of Liability

Knock is provided "as is". We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (or $100, whichever is greater).

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
